Ain't no duty too big
There ain't no rule too strict
Ain't no mountain too high
I cannot overfly

Ain't no pain too big
There ain't no shit too deep
Ain't nobody to blame
If you decide to stay the same

Ain't nobody gonna belive you
If you always stop where you start
If you don't put in your heart

Ain't nobody gonna be your friend
If you just turn around and shake your head

Ain't no handshake too great
For you not to break
There ain't no lies for you
You just call it twisted truth

Ain't nobody gonna belive you
If you always stop where you start
If you don't put in your heart

Ain't nobody gonna be your friend
If you just turn around and shake your head
Shake your head

Ain't nobody gonna belive you
If you always stop where you start
If you don't put in your heart

Ain't nobody gonna be your friend
If you just turn around and shake your head
Shake your head

I was born in a small country, in the Capitol City
Red stars all around, and the girls were pretty
Doctor told my mother, well we better start early
This boys life is gonna be one big journey

Today I'm standing here and I'm looking at you
And I'm feeling like-
An American too

The smell of freedom and the star spangled banner
Everything's allowed, thought that's the American manner
I painted a picture, right there in my head
Of life saving cowboys and cool men in black

Today I'm standing here and I'm looking at you
And I'm feeling like-
An American too

Full of hopes, full of dreams
Everything's possible that's how it seems
And you could live in Katmandu
And still feel like, still feel like
An American too

I've travelled the world, people I've seen
To many different countries I've already been
In the slums of Bangkok I met this kid
He said I wanna be Michael Knight jumping with KITT

And I said to this boy, I'm just like you
Cause I'm feeling like
An American too

Full of hopes, full of dreams
Everything's possible that's how it seems
And you could live in Katmandu

And still feel like, still feel like
An American too

I've landed in Cinci went on to Kentucky
I've seen the big apple, have heard of Milwaukee
I was sweating in Orlando, in Miami too
In Boston I had Lobster, I guess that's what you do

Today I'm standing here and I'm singing to you
I'm feeling like-
An American too

Full of hopes, full of dreams
Everything's possible that's how it seems
And you could live in Katmandu
And still feel like, still feel like
An American too
An American Too
An American Too
An American Too

Hold me up, hold me tight
I was born ready, ready to fly
Down to earth, I shall always be
With you by my side, nothing else I need

City lights are currently torturing me,
Yeah the country side, that's where I wanna be
Wide so wide as the river flows
I see myself slowly riding along

I was born ready, born ready, born ready
I was born ready, born ready, born ready
I was born ready, born ready, ready to fly

An old man looks friendly up to the skies
Oh he can see something
I can't yet see thru my eyes
His peaceful look makes me cry
He was born ready, ready to die

He was born ready, born ready, born ready
He was born ready, born ready, born ready
He was born ready, born ready, ready to die

He was born ready, born ready, born ready
he was born ready, born ready born ready,
He was born ready, born ready, ready to fly

I see those eyes that surround me
Are they aware that, aware that
They were born, they were born ready

They were born ready, born ready, born ready
They were born ready, born ready, born ready,
They were born ready, born ready, ready to fly

They were born ready, born ready, born ready
They were born ready, born ready, born ready,
They were born ready, born ready, ready to fly

I grab my hat, eight eyes are with me
Where the river flows us, I guess we will see

We were born ready, born ready, born ready
You were born ready, born ready, born ready,
I was born ready, born ready, ready to fly

We were born ready, born ready, born ready
You were born ready, born ready, born ready,
I was born ready, born ready, ready to fly

I stroll through the city, some old friends I see
And I wonder do they now
That sometimes it's hard for us to make ends meet

Worn out jeans I'm wearing, and an old shirt too
Haven't bought me no new shoes
In a year or probably two

But I know it takes just one song if everybody sings along with it

Well I asked him just the other day
You know your birthday's coming up sun
What are your wishes, come on tell me

He said, you know Daddy, got everything I want
How bout just a birthday cake
With some strawberries on

But I know it takes just one call for us to be back in the game in no time at all
But I know it takes just one song if everybody sings along with it

You know we're all different, we can't be the same
Everybody's got his own way
Of playing the game

But I know it takes just one song if everybody sings along with it
But I know it takes just one call for us to be back in the game in no time at all
But I know it takes just one song if everybody sings along with it

Turn around, look who's here
Haven't seen in a long time, long long long time

I guess we've changed, things are clear
Oh brother now we're eye to eye, eye to eye

Remember then, back then, different things were on our minds
We were one of a kind

And I still feel, feel
There's so much left of me still unknown

And I still feel, feel
There's a blockade in myself that needs to be undone
Turn around, look who's here
Haven't seen in a long time, long long long time

You're like a mirror, what I see
Is something that I just dislike, just dislike

And I still feel, feel
There's so much left of me still unknown
And I still feel, feel
There's a blockade in myself that needs to be undone

And I still feel, feel
There's so much left of me still unknown
And I still feel, feel
There's a blockade in myself that needs to be undone

And I still feel, feel
There's so much left of me still unknown
And I still feel, feel
There's a blockade in myself that needs to be undone

And I still feel, feel
There's so much left of me still unknown
And I still feel, feel
There's a blockade in myself that needs to be undone

It was the strangest of all mornings
When I woke up from a dream
In the shadows of my eyes
Something beautiful I’ve seen
With some change left in my wallet
And some numbers in my head
I went to buy a lottery ticket
That’s exactly what I did
The last coins left my hands
And then guess what happened
| Well I stumbled through the kitchen
And I fell down on the floor
Just that very same second
My wife opened the door
We won the lottery oh yeah
We won the lottery
The door hit my head
It still hurts pretty bad
We won the lottery

As I got back on my feet
A little dizzy I’d still feel
My wife looked at the ticket
She said babe is this for real
We won the lottery, oh yeah
We won the lottery
We had a hard time paying the bills
Now we feel the money thrills
We won the lottery
Well there’s no time for waiting
Gotta buy me a new car
10 handbags for my wife
And for my daughter a guitar
My son wants a sports car
My other daughter well she dreams
Of being on the cover of the fashion magazines
We won the lottery, oh yeah
We won the lottery, we won the lottery
Got a morning filled with laughter
Got a cup of coffee
Got a pocket full of fame
And a lot of money
We won the lottery, oh yeah
We won the lottery
We had a hard time paying the bills
Now we feel the money thrills
We won the lottery, we won the lottery
We won the lottery, we won the lottery

A man comes up to me
And he asks me for the way
I tell him to go right, than left and then just keep it straight

I don't really know
If that's the only way around
I guess a man just needs to go
A man just needs to find it out

Sometimes life can get hard
It will get us into trouble
It catches us off-guard
And we all have to struggle

But I won't back down
No I won't
No I won't back down
No I won't

I put one step before the other
Slowly goin' my way
Taking with me the things I like
And leave the others there to stay

Strong winds blowing towards me
But what has that to say
Do I have to be like all the others, just to be allowed to go my way

But I won't back down
No I won't

No I won't back down
No I won't
No I won't back down
No I won't

Little boy Jim was born on a late Sunday night
The roads were all closed because of a heavy storm outside

The nurse and the doctor, they both looked away
Little Jim didn't seem so right, was he really here to stay

Little boy Jim well if you come to town
I'm gonna have no choice but to gun you down

You have done bad now you're hiding away
But somebody will find you somehow, someday

He took his first life when he turned fifteen
On a dark and dirty corner, little Jim was really mean
He did it on purpose, did it with a smile
Well I guess there's nothin' bout Jim you could call juvenile

Little Boy Jim was born and he was thrown away
Nobody took care of him, not even on his first day
He was pushed around, and he was pushed away
He couldn't stay longer than for a couple of days

Little boy Jim well if you come to town
I'm gonna have no choice but to gun you down
You have done bad now you're hiding away
But somebody will find you somehow, someday

His mother was a street girl, his daddy picked her up
On another dark and dirty corner
They did it without love

Little boy Jim well if you come to town
I'm gonna have no choice but to gun you down
You have done bad now you're hiding away
But somebody will find you somehow, someday

Little boy Jim well if you come to town
I'm gonna have no choice but to gun you down
You have done bad now you're hiding away
But somebody will find you somehow, someday

Lock the doors we're leavin'
I think this time for good
Turn around and say goodbye
to this old neighborhood

I still remember painting
With you all the walls
And all our friends that offered helping
did not show and did not call

Do you recall, do you recall, do you recall

Let's just have a real, a real new beginning somewhere far away from here
We will find a way, if we stick to life and love and peace every day
Every day, every day

Well my knees start shaking
As I walk these final steps
To the car and away from here
As fast as we can get
As we can get, as we can get, as we can get

Let's just have a real, a real new beginning somewhere far away from here
We will find a way, if we stick to life and love and peace every day
Every day, every day

Yesterday is over
Tomorrow hasn't yet begun
We could slowly dream away
Into the purple sun
Into the sun, into the sun, into the sun

Let's just have a real, a real new beginning somewhere far away from here

We will find a way, if we stick to life and love and peace every day
Every day, every day

Let's just have a real new beginning somewhere far away from here
We will find a way, if we stick to life and love and peace every day

Let's just have a real, a real new beginning somewhere far away from here
We will find a way, if we stick to life and love and peace every day
Every day, every day

We're back in our suite, it's been a lovely day
And I'm feelin' like on the milky way

Everything's finally fine and we're doing alright
There's nothing left to say

Well there's been harder times, with some rocks in our ways
And sometimes we didn't know how to make the day

But we always had fun, love and moved on
On into a brand new day

Well there's just one thing that is really real
And that's what I think and what I feel
Where I wanna go, what I wanna be

Well there's just one thing that is really real
And that's what I think and what I feel
Where I wanna go, what I wanna be

You can be what you want, have what you please
You can reach for the stars and feel at ease
There's no limit to face, just put yourself into place
Cause what you are is what you feel

Well there's just one thing that is really real
And that's what I think and what I feel
Where I wanna go, what I wanna be

Well there's just one thing that is really real
And that's what I think and what I feel
Where I wanna go, what I wanna be

I just know what I think is real
I just know what I feel is, feel is real

Well there's just one thing that is really real
And that's what I think and what I feel
Where I wanna go, what I wanna be

Well there's just one thing that is really real
And that's what I think and what I feel
Where I wanna go, what I wanna be

Sweet Darling Angel
You give me sensations

Roll on roller coaster, just roll on
Roll on roller coaster, just roll on

Well I love your curves
I love the way you walk
I love your pretty blonde hair
And the way you talk

I love your nails on my
Back when you scratch it wildly
I love your breath on my
Neck when you kiss it softly

Sweet Darling Angel
You give me sensation

Roll on roller coaster, just roll on

Right there in the moonlight
Sweet makin' love feels just so right

Roll on roller coaster, just roll on
Roll on roller coaster, just roll on

I love the way we roll
When we loose control
I love the way you scream
Throw your hair and moan

I love the way your hips
Are dancing to our song
I love the way we rock
Oh baby rock'n'roll

Sweet Darling Angel
You give me sensation

Roll on roller coaster, just roll on

Right there in the moonlight
Sweet makin' love feels just so right

Roll on roller coaster, just roll on
Roll on roller coaster, just roll on

I feel a warm wet kiss
On my lips
I feel the fire
In my hips

Roll on roller coaster, just roll on
Roll on roller coaster, just roll on

Right there in the moonlight
Sweet makin' love feels just so right

Roll on roller coaster, just roll on
Roll on roller coaster, just roll on

Summer's long gone, so are you my dear
Tell me am I making myself not clear

Close that door, leave everything behind
Better yet why don't you just turn blind

Black moon dives slowly away
Clouds are dark, there's no light to see

An old wise man sings the night away
In the distance I can hear him say

Old companion, are you goin' away
It's all right, you've been here
You've been here long to stay

No second thoughts, no turning round
Led by the silence not the speed of sound

Every one has his fight to fight
There's this power coming from the light

An old wise man sings the night away
In the distance I can hear him say

Old companion, are you goin' away
It's all right, you've been here
You've been here long to stay

Old companion, don't you worry
You have left footsteps, footsteps on your way

Footsteps on your way
Footsteps on your way

Summer's long gone, so are you my dear
Tell me am I making myself not clear

Close that door, leave everything behind
Better yet why don't you just turn blind

Old companion, are you goin' away
It's all right, you've been here
You've been here long to stay

Old companion, don't you worry
You have left footsteps, footsteps on your way

Summer's long gone, so are you my dear
Tell me am I making myself not clear

Take my hand come on let's go home
Hold on tight, we might hit a storm

Purple lights cover up the skies
The childish blue smiles up from your eyes

You make me laugh when everything else seems grey
Oh my son, you can count on me on your way

A new morning is born, let's get dressed for the day
And you start it all with a smile and a kiss for me

I'll give you all I'll ever have to give
And I thank the lord for this greatest gift

From time to time you might fall
Don't you worry my boy, you will have it all

You will have it, you will have it all

Hold your head up, enjoy every moment
Don't worry too much, you might loose what you've just earned

Listen to the voice inside of you
It'll always tell, tell you what to do

From time to time you might fall
Don't you worry my boy, you will have it all

You will have it all

Take my hand come on let's go home
